Reiki also assists with personal and spiritual growth. Ki or chi is the life force energy we all need to live. We experience an exchange of this energy all the time. If someone is angry we may feel the tension. If someone smiles we smile and feel happier. Visiting a poorly person in hospital can make us feel drained. Martial artists focus this energy to increase their power in Aikido or Tai chi. Many ancient healing systems throughout the world work with this energy. Reiki supplements your own ki or life force energy to clear blockages and give your body greater power to heal on a mental, physical or emotional level.

Channelled information teaches us that the origins of Reiki stem from the times of Atlantis and Lemuria, when intuitive skills were common place. However, the vibrations of the Earth, being heavier than those of spirit lead some people into negative emotions of fear, anger, jealousy etc which caused many problems. Reiki was brought to Earth as early as those times to help people to clear negativity and karma. After the downfall of those civilisations it was taken to India, Tibet, Egypt where it was kept secret until the world was yet again ready to be enlightened.

Independent research by Dr Robert Becker and Dr John Zimmerman during the 1980’s investigated what happens during a healing like Reiki. They found that not only do the brain waves of practitioner and receiver become synchronised in the alpha state, (characteristic of deep relaxation, meditation of hypnosis) but also they pulse in unison with the earth’s magnetic field known as Schuman Resonance. During these moments the bio magnetic field of the practitioners hands is at least 1000 times greater than normal, and not as a result of any internal body current. Other researchers have suggested that the linking of the energy fields between the practitioner and earth allows the practitioner to draw on a “universal energy field”. Other work by Zimmerman (1990) in the USA and Seto (1992) in Japan, looked into the pulsating magnetic field that emanates from the healers hands whilst they work. They discovered that the pulses are in the same frequencies as brain waves; varying from 0.3 to 30 Hz. Medical research shows that these frequencies stimulate healing in the body with different frequencies being suitable for specific tissues.

Some people take Reiki for their own healing and many others have dedicated their lives to helping others lead more healthy, happy lives. We are not going to differentiate between these groups as you never know where Reiki will lead you:- I (Wendy) took Reiki for my own healing many years ago. Then in 1996, I started to help others by teaching Reiki and by giving treatments. Since then I have held regular workshops and aided the development of many 100's of Reiki practitioners. My husband, David also had a Reiki treatment years ago, which changed the course of his life and eventually lead to him becoming a Reiki & Seichem Master. We believe that Reiki is all about spiritual growth and the empowerment of self and others. An obvious way of increasing the power of your Reiki Healing is by taking the next step, from Reiki 1 to Reiki 2 and Reiki Master but problems or frustrations may overwhelm us at any level. No matter what good intentions we have, we are all human and subject to doubts and fears from time to time. To maintain and improve the vibration of Reiki requires some effort and some time but the rewards are well worth it. Have you noticed kids for example, sometimes they are really ratty and rise to any bait, yet other times quite laid back? This could be when they are tired and hungry as opposed to well fed and comfortable. It is all down to brain chemicals so that when a good meal increases the Serotonin levels, they are more tolerant.

Try this meditation: relax your whole body and release any tension anywhere you find it. Imagine that you have roots going down deep into the Earth to keep you grounded. Then imagine a copper light shining above your head flowing down into your head, neck, arms, body etc until it fills you. You are a chalice overflowing with liquid copper. Now see a silver light above you. This silver flows into you replacing the copper in every part of your body. Silver shines out from your centre radiating out into the aura. Now look above and see a wonderful golden energy  raining down on you like a shower. It fills every part of you, charging you with high energy, with dynamic power. Again it fills you until it overflows into the aura, out into the world and  into the Earth. Notice how you feel and allow yourself just to be.

As you connect to God/Spirit in a deeply relaxed state of mind and body, your subtle energies are strengthened and you may allow changes to your own abilities to be enhanced. Various techniques like attunements or activation of DNA strands may speed up the process but it still has to happen at the right time for you. It may be dangerous to speed up your development too fast. The first psychic sense to be activated is usually clairsentience as you become sensitive to the feelings of others (here and in spirit). Then there is clairvoyance where you may see those in Spirit or see images/symbols given to you to interpret.

Claircognisance means that you just know even though you don't know where the information came from. Years ago in a circle, I was blindfolded and a coloured scarf was put on my head. I had to work out what colour it was but I just knew from the start that it was red. Logic and reason just confused me and took me further from the truth. This is Claircognisance. The last psychic sense to develop is usually Clairaudience, when you hear God or Spirit.

Whatever you hear, see, know must be tested. If you walked down the street and a stranger told you something, would you believe him? Discrimination is an important lesson for us all. We must know who to trust, who to listen to, who to accept. We do this by challenging three times ? Are you a Being acting in God's Love, God's Light, God's Wisdom? Ask three times and be aware of the answer. By universal law you must be answered truthfully. Not only do we have childhood memories affecting us but other influences that perhaps you never even dreamed of. The genes within the DNA are made even before you were born and go back through at least 7 generations. Since emotions and beliefs affect the morphogenic field around the DNA this means that your ancestors have influenced your beliefs and changed your DNA and genes. Genes are codes of information, which assign hair and eye, colour or control the health and well being of your body.

Other spiritual people may have been monks or nuns in past lives, taking vows or oaths of poverty, chastity or servitude. They may have accepted a cross over their third eye to prevent clairvoyance and this may still remain. Those who have been shamans in past lives usually have programs of suffering and taking on the illness or disease of others. The subconscious may be working with the beliefs of "I must sacrifice my sight for another", "I have boundaries on healing", or even "I have to suffer to be close to God". I've treated very spiritual people who have been working on themselves for many years making positive changes but until now, they have been unable to clear these deep blockages. This really does empower the healer to realise their potential. On a ThetaDNA Healing workshop, I told my group of students that I was going to test them for genetic prejudices so we could get rid of them. Each healer in this group was an amazingly high spiritual being but each and every one was holding reams of hatred for different races and religious sects! Of course there was no guilt or shame- it was all on a genetic belief level and they had no consciousness of it until we tested but it still prevented them from being true beings of light!

The next belief level is the Soul level, which obviously goes very deep and reflects attitudes that have been held through many generations and between times.

There is a dark side of each and every one of us. Sometimes in past lives this dark side has been predominant and we have made agreement with dark energies. The dark is just as natural as the light, as night and day. These energies may influence us still and hinder our development, even though they cannot harm us. They may pose challenges which motivate  us to develop and grow. Remember Jesus in the desert being tempted by the devil. He emerged stronger and more determined. Using the power of our minds increases the effect of the treatment we are giving. Saying a prayer, calling on our guides, using breathing control or visualising things happening, all make everything more real. Quantum Touch utilises many techniques of breathing and visualisation. Not everyone is visual. Some people cannot visualise a scene but they can get a feel for it. They are often kinaesthetic. Sometimes they are auditory. When I talk about visualising, I mean using all the psychic senses; clairvoyance, clairsentience, Claircognisance and clairaudience. You will find excellent mediums, who will introduce themselves and say, "I am not clairvoyant, I do not see I just feel and hear sometimes" Then they will give a vivid description of someone in spirit.

Claircognisance is just a knowing, that comes from the Source of all. When I first met David he had so many spiritual questions to ask. The amazing thing was that I never knew what I was going to reply and was as surprised and delighted at my answers as he was! Clairaudience is when you hear messages from Spirit or from God. All messages must be tested as those in spirit may have Ego and duality just as we do.

When I became a Seichem Master years ago, I had very little knowledge about the Angels and Archangels. One morning I awoke and felt/knew that there was an Angel with me. I started to think, "I wonder who......" but before I could even finish thinking it, an answer came to me, sounding like Jo- fee-el. I thought, "Jofiel?" and the response was, "nearly, not quite". I was too stunned to ask more but when I went on a workshop soon afterwards, I asked the tutor and she guided me to a book on Angels. There I discovered Jophiel, the Archangel, "Beauty of God", connected with illumination and wisdom.

I read more about Angels and started to connect to them more often. One workshop on Angels, which I ran had a pink candle burning whilst we were working. As the candle burned down the wax formed Angel wings around it! In conjunction with others, I ran World Angel Day in Mansfield for several years and learned to communicate with them more clearly. Without the Seichem, I'm sure that I never would have gone on this path.

These beautiful beings of Light have never incarnated into this world and they are pure Love. However, as we all have free will, you must ask if you need their help. Guardian Angels, on the other hand are guides, who have been with you since birth, often family members. Archangel Raphael is the Archangel of Healing and you can ask for his help and that of his Angels, when you do a treatment. Remember to ask three times as three is the number of the Universe. 

In Theta Healing workshops, we learn how to connect to Guardian Angels and guides. I tell people that their guardian angel is a guide so not to expect a real Angel. However, we often have Angels or Archangels dropping in for a chat!

If you love Angels, you may well be one! Years ago I read Doreen Virtue books which told that we are the Angels. I could not accept this and disbelieved it. Since working with ThetaDNA Healing, I have found many people who were and still are Angels. Often they are born into troubled families, thinking to bring love and peace, where there is only anger and hatred. Almost always they bite off more than they can chew and these sensitive souls come to me and others like me for help.

Angels have a group consciousness, like any group and the beliefs often held are:

I am trapped or miserable in a human body.

I can't do my soul purpose in a human body.

I'm dying to go home to God.

I'm carrying the trauma of losing my wings.

I have to serve on Earth.

I resent having to serve on Earth.

I have to serve humans.

Humans are impossible to help.

Humans don't listen.

I have to shield my body with fat.

I have to eat to ground myself with food.

Angels may also have contracts with dark Angels to keep the balance of light and dark. these contracts may no longer be for their best and highest good and need to be removed.

After teaching the Master Energy Colour Healing and the Advanced Master Energy Colour Healing course, they were guided to pass on the teachings to others who would spread this system. I have been fortunate enough to merit this honour. More....

Everything is vibration and both colours and sound increase the power of any treatment. The Ascended Masters, St Germaine, the Master Lord Kuthumi, the Master Hilarion, the Christ, the Master El Moyra, Lao Tsu and Kwan Yin and Serapis Bey oversee the treatment and continue the healing after the session has ended, ensuring that the clients medication is made the best possible for them. Ascended Masters are highly evolved spiritual beings, who have lived on this Earth and have no karma to clear.

This is a beautiful, simple and short treatment, which stands alone or can be added to any other treatment. It not only increases the healing energies but also raises your vibrations each time you use it.

When you receive a Reiki or Seichem attunement with a Tera-Mai Seichem Master , like myself, you are attuned to the energies of St Germaine so that you can call on him for help in clearing away negative energies from yourself, your client or from your treatment room.

After I had been attuned to his energies, I awoke one morning full of rage! Although I had been sending love and forgiveness to those who had harmed me, believing it had been dealt with, I had really buried it. My subconscious must have brought it to conscious awareness for healing during my sleep. However, for me it was such a powerful emotion that it was a great shock and for a moment, I didn't know what to do with myself. I called in St Germaine and the Angels of the Silver Violet Flame and asked for it to be lifted into the light. I made a swirling motion around my heart chakra as if to lift it up and as suddenly as it came, it was gone. What a blessing.

	I have to mention the power of crystals here even if I don’t go into a lot of detail. When I first learnt Reiki in the early 90's, I was going through a period of depression after splitting from my ex husband.
	I had suffered from depression in the past and knew the effects of anti depressants so I refused to take them again. I worked on myself with Reiki, meditation and crystals. Gradually I got better and better. Citrine is said to be good for depression but I used what ever felt nice to me. In those days there were no Crystal schools or workshops, just books so I absorbed all the information I could.

If someone has brought negative energies into the house and you have a lot of crystals to cleanse, ask for the Lord of Crystals to cleanse your crystals.

The DNA holds the blueprint for the renewal of the cells of the body. The DNA is affected by emotions and beliefs held by you on all levels. Only when you get rid of these unhelpful beliefs and emotions can the body reconstruct itself in the correct manner. In Theta Healing you learn how to test beliefs/programs on all levels, (Core, Genetic, History and Soul) in different ways. After testing beliefs and finding out at which level they are held,  you learn how to clear each level, replacing the belief with a helpful, positive belief which serves the highest good of the individual. This has the effect of clearing the morphogenetic field around the DNA. 

Witnessing the healing and replacement of beliefs affirms the healing within your subconscious mind and that of the client but even more it has the effect of turning possibility into reality, wave into particle. Other attunements are incorporated into Seichem workshops. In Seichem 1 and 2, you will be attuned to the energies of St Germaine and the Angels of the Silver Violet Flame. By calling on St Germaine, you will find it easier to deal with negative energies, whether with yourself, your client or in the room/environment. At level 2 you may also be initiated into the Order of Melchizedik, which is ancient and powerful order of Healers, predating Christ. Yod is the first initiation into the Egyptian Cartouche. Seichem 1 attunes you to the four elemental healing rays of earth, fire, water and air. Various exciting healing techniques are also included. This workshop is 80% hands on.

At this level, a variety of symbols are taught. Distant and mental, emotional techniques are learnt and practiced.

A really powerful and challenging step. This is a major acknowledgement of your spiritual and personal growth. At Master level, there are many different attunement processes to learn. Again it may be easier to learn in two parts so I give you that option.

Quantum Touch increases the power of Reiki and Seichem and even allows people without Reiki the ability to heal. Some people say that it gives a turbo charge to Reiki. The healer uses breathing techniques and visualizations to increase the vibrational energy of their hands. I was brought up as a Born Again Christian within the Church Of England with strict religious beliefs. As an adult I switched to a Pentecostal church for many years where I was baptised by full immersion. At that event I received the gift of tongues which until recently I was shy to share with others. Now spiritual people seem to find it uplifting and empowering.

Some years ago I had a Reiki treatment, which didn't seem to do anything but looking back now I can see that it changed the course of my life. I became interested in massage, Angels & Fairies, in developing my psychic senses. I took workshops in these and trained in Reiki becoming a Reiki Master & Seichem Master with Wendy in 2005. All this gathering knowledge and spirituality helped me to break free from the restrictive beliefs which had held me back since a child.

Discovering Theta Healing enabled me to remove the last barriers to my empowerment by removing programs of limit from Past Lives and Genetic influences. I am a Theta Healer, Reiki Healer, Masseur, Psychic Healer (I have a psychic surgeon who works with me). As a Software Development Manager within the Direct Marketing industry, I have developed technical expertise but also the ability to enjoy people of all types.
